As we honor our Veterans and those currently serving, we are reminded of the sacrifices they have made for our freedom. Safely take a picture of yourself and your Harley in front of an American Legion within Louisiana. One entry for each image. If the image has a plane, tank, or military vehicle included, you will  receive two entries for that image. Maximum 10 images, 20 entries. Submit the photos to Pat Newbound at [email protected] Indicate if you are a veteran or active duty service member.

October 2024-The Goal of Ride Challenge is to safely take a pictue of yourself, your motorcycle and a sign that identifies either National Parks, Monuments, Forest or Wildlife Preserves-Located in Louisiana. All locations entitles to one entry-Cane River Creole National Historical Park, Jean Lafitte National Park & Preserve, New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park, Poverty Point National Monument, Kisatchie National Forest. & all National Wildlife Preserves (NWR)-(see photo) Email photos to Pat Newbound at [email protected] 

September-The Goal of Ride Challenge is to take a pictue of yourself, your motorcycle and the location, if it can be done safely. Sepetmber Challenge-spell "Labor Day"-take a picture of 8 signs using the first letter of the city, town, village, welcome sign, city highway sign, or City Hall to spell 'Labor Day'. Send all 8 photos in one email to Pat Newbound at [email protected] - Bonus-Earn 10 extra entries for each sign if you use Oil City, Bogalusa, and Labadieville signs as entries to spell Labor Day. Total of 40 chances to win.

Send a picture of August’s Challenge Coin, showing your name and the coin to Pat Newbound, Activities Officer, at [email protected] by the third week in September for the drawing at the September Chapter meeting. You will have the full length of the challenge to earn the coin. Send a picture of the Harley app “Digital Challenge” challenge coin to Pat Newbound, Activities Officer, each month to enter in a drawing for a $25.00 Visa Gift Card.  

August 2024-The Goal of Ride Challenge is to ride your motorcycle to the designated location, take a pictue of yourself, your motorcycle and the location, if it can be done safely. August Challenge - High School Signs at any location. The name of the high school must be visible either on the buildin or high school sign. Maximum number of photos is 20 photos. Each photo counts as one entry. Email the picture to Pat Newbound, Activities Officer at [email protected]. Drawing at August Chapter meeting.      

July 2024-The Goal of Ride Challenge is to ride your motorcycle to the designated location, take a pictue of yourself, your motorcycle and the location, done safely. July Challenge-Ride to 5 locations, take a picture of American Flag-MUST have a building in the background-go to 5 more locations for 10 pictures (must have 10 total) Each location counts as an entry. Passengers count too. Email the picture to [email protected] and [email protected]. Drawing at July meeting.
